I've Called You to Rebuild Walls

I'll be very honest with you, building, or in this case rebuilding, of any kind, is a lot of work.

But, quite often God calls us to do hard things. Not to overwhelm us, but to establish His purpose in our lives so that He would get the glory.

In Nehemiah chapter 1, Nehemiah is very troubled after he learns that the walls of Jerusalem had been broken down and its gates had been burned with fire.

He was so troubled that he left his prestigious role of being the King's cupbearer in Persia and took on the noble and difficult task of rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem.

In this season, I believe that God is calling us to do things that are necessary. They might not be glamorous, but the end result is extremely rewarding.

We might not necessarily be called to rebuild physical walls but we're called to rebuild walls of morality, walls of love, walls of respect and walls that generally fill voids in the communities that we live in.

Can you identify a wall in your life that God has called you to rebuild?

𝙏𝙞𝙥: The areas in your life that you have a burden for (issues that you've seen that you have been troubled by) usually highlight a void that you're able to fill, a problem that you're able to solve and in this case, a wall you're able to rebuild.
